Privacy Policy

This website collects business inquiry information that you submit (name, company, email, phone, country, and requirement details) so SM Salt sales can respond. We also store privacy-conscious attribution such as UTM parameters, landing page, and referrer when those values are present in the request.

Cookies and analytics (updated 21 October 2026): you choose with the notice shown on your first visit — Accept, Reject or Preferences — and you can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer. Rejecting does not limit your use of the website or our inquiry forms.

Strictly necessary (always on): your consent choice is kept in your browser, and our inquiry forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving security check that protects buyers and our sales team from automated spam. Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser characteristics only for this check (see cloudflare.com/privacypolicy). Inquiry details you submit are checked automatically (for example, whether a business email domain can receive email) so our sales team can prioritise genuine trade inquiries; no inquiry is deleted automatically.

Analytics (optional, only after you accept): we record page views, product and category views, clicks on quote buttons and whether an inquiry form was started or sent, with our own first-party tool. No advertising cookies are used and form contents are never recorded by analytics. Your browser keeps a random visitor ID and the source of your first visit (UTM campaign, referring site, landing page) so an inquiry can be matched to how you found us. IP addresses are not stored; they are used only at the moment of the visit to estimate the country. If Google Analytics is enabled it is loaded only after you accept, with advertising features switched off. With Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track enabled, analytics stays off. Visit data is deleted after 13 months unless it is linked to an inquiry you submitted.

We do not sell inquiry data. Internal CRM access is restricted. Full legal terms will replace this summary when SM Salt provides approved privacy counsel text.
